Some of the animals cheetahs eat are small to medium sized animals such as hares, impalas, wildebeest calves and gazelles.

To help the cheetah locate prey, it has very good eyesight. It’s prey don’t see it coming because it’s spotted coat blends into the background. They live and hunt their food mainly in the open grasslands and bushy areas of Africa and the Middle East.
